Discover how the CONTIGO 2024 Gala Dinner at Mas de Sant Lleí raised funds for breast cancer research and support.

On Thursday, May 23rd, it was a very special day for all the women of Lleal. Together, we enjoyed a new edition of the CONTIGO 2024 Gala Dinner, in the wonderful setting of Mas de Sant Lleí, in Vilanova del Vallès. United for a very good cause: to collaborate in fundraising for breast cancer research.
In this 5th edition of the event, in support of the Contigo Against Women’s Cancer Foundation and its research projects, we had the privilege of hearing from Dr. Javier Cortés, president of the foundation, and Dr. Antonio Llombart.
The Foundation has been analyzing for over 20 years how to eradicate women’s cancer, focusing on better diagnosis and treatment. During their presentations, they introduced some of the new ongoing projects, particularly focused on metastatic cancer, highlighting the essentiality of constant study and support for women facing this tough battle.
Montse Almirall, vice president of the Foundation, shared her personal story and presented the story “Cristina and Mom“, a valuable tool to address cancer in the family environment and aimed at raising more funds for research.
During the event, we had the privilege of participating in a raffle aimed at fundraising. Thanks to the generosity of all present, they managed to raise €57,400, which will be allocated to research projects. We feel very proud and grateful for the collaboration that Lleal provides in favor of the CONTIGO Foundation.
We also thank Dr. Javier Cortés and the entire Board of the Contigo Foundation for making this unforgettable night possible once again.
