Fluid bed dryers are versatile equipment that allows for up to three processes: drying, granulation, and encapsulation, in a clean and dry air atmosphere and depending on the accessories used. Thanks to the incorporation of measuring probes, all parameters involved in the three processes (temperature, air flow, humidity, etc.) can be controlled. It allows for drying at low temperatures in shorter times than vacuum dryers. Additionally, it enables granulation through the application of additives via a nebuliser gun (Top Spray), as well as the coating of solid particles with paraffins or similar materials thanks through an injector (Bottom Spray) via the Wurster tube. Optionally, the equipment can incorporate automatic loading and unloading systems, as well as CIP cleaning balls for the filter, body, and lower bottom.
