The vertical colloidal mill has been designed for grinding solid products dispersed in a liquid medium and for the preparation of stable suspensions, effectively and without contamination, as it is a low-energy consumption equipment that operates in a closed circuit without dust emissions.
With the MCV mill, dispersions and emulsions are obtained with perfect homogenisation, particle size regularity, and excellent percentage distribution.
It operates by hydraulic shear effect on a thin film of the product being processed. The basic operating elements consist of two conical rotor / stator grindstones with adjustable spacing and constructed from stainless steel or ceramic.
The required fineness for the process is achieved through the mechanical adjustment and separation system of the grindstones. The material type of these grindstones is determined by the product being processed and the application. Depending on the installed wheels, fineness below 10 µ can be achieved with these mills.
