MIR intensive mixers are ideal equipment for precise and thorough mixing of dry or powdery products. They allow liquid injection systems to be incorporated for wetting, granulation, and preparation of low viscosity pastes.
Their design is characterised by a horizontal, sealed cylindrical body, with a shaft that incorporates “plough” type blades positioned along the cylindrical body and rotating inside it near the wall of the mixing body. Combined with the action of the intensifying turbines, installed perpendicular to the shaft, centrifugal currents with local turbulences of great efficiency for mixing are created.
