After validation tests, we are finalising the delivery of a blender and a biconical dryer to a renowned multinational group in the pharmaceutical sector.

Granollers, 14th December 2023. An internationally renowned pharmaceutical group has once again trusted us for a new project to manufacture pharmaceutical pellets and microspheres, essential components of many of the tablets and capsules that we ingest on a regular basis.

To provide a solution to this process, we have designed and manufactured a blender and a rotative dryer with a biconical body, one with a working capacity up to 2,700 L and the other with a capacity up to 1,200 L and with a drying function.

As special features of this equipment, we would like to highlight that the BC-4200 blender has been fitted with a new lump-breaking system consisting of two chopper-type turbines with 6 blades each, installed on both cones in opposite positions, thus increasing the contact surface and therefore improving its effectiveness, as this equipment will be used for the manufacture of microspheres.

The production of pharmaceutical pellets requires an additional drying process; the SBC-2250 biconical dryer that we have just manufactured allows this function thanks to the incorporation of a double chamber for heating / cooling and the possibility of reaching a high vacuum inside by means of nitrogen injection and a complete and powerful vacuum unit.

 This week we have carried out and successfully passed all the validation tests in our facilities, together with our customer, to proceed to the final phase of assembly and commissioning in the clean rooms where they will be installed. But our work does not end here, we will continue to be at our customer’s side to provide our maintenance and support services whenever they need us.
