AM-600 kneader: a robust design with advanced controls
Last week, Lleal S.A.U. delivered and commissioned two AM-600 mixers. This model of equipment has been specially designed for the munitions manufacturing industry and is therefore prepared to work in ATEX zones and with explosive products. Its robust construction and a configuration adapted to the customer’s needs make the AM tilting mixer the best solution for industrial processes that require mixing and kneading highly viscous products with a homogeneous result.
🛠️ Robust design and accurate temperature control
For this application, the AM-600 kneader is made of special steel (AISI-321), a material suitable for working at high temperatures without the risk of corrosion or oxidation. Likewise, it incorporates double sigma blades in high hardness cast iron, ideal for working with high viscosity products.
One of the outstanding features of this equipment is that it incorporates a temperature control system, which keeps the trough at a constant temperature, thanks to the combination of a water thermoregulator connected to a cooler and the covering of the trough with a protective insulation that prevents heat transfer to the outside.
💻 Manufacturing process with automated PLC control
The electrical panel with PLC facilitates the control and operation of the AM-600 tilting kneaders, allowing the critical parameters of the manufacturing process to be controlled in real time. This control system can be adapted to the specific needs of each customer.
🔄 Tilting kneaders: adaptability to different sectors
The versatility of the tilting kneaders allows their application in different industries. Our kneader model has different mixing paddle configurations, which makes them suitable for the manufacture of adhesives, coatings, resins, rubbers, or plastics. We also have a range widely used in the food sector for the production of meat casings, caramel, seasonings, etc.
